As Founder of the Network - Building Knowledge & Acceptance - (BKA), I am passionate about supporting and empowering women in my adopted home. Having immigrated to Sweden myself, I noticed significant gaps in their integration approach and saw a need for a more robust and an accessible support system.
In general, some face special challenges such as language barriers, poor understanding of societal norms, and possible discrimination and social exclusion. This impetus drove me to establish BKA, a Network which aims to build fellowship, capacity, and community through shared lived experiences. I bring a diverse background and several years of expertise to this important work, and I am committed to helping as many women as I can reach their full potential.
My platform, Building Knowledge & Acceptance (BKA), is designed to promote cross-cultural integration and assimilation and help women broaden their network, gain support, achieve and sustain success on their own terms, and learn how to better navigate their new lives in Sweden.
